- Assist with behavior management and implement strategies to promote positive behaviors.
- Support individuals in social activities and community integration.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and any observed changes in behavior or health.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure the well-being of individuals under care.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements - Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Familiarity with hospice care principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate and work with individuals with autism and their families.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
