Warehouse Manager

Ensure slow moving inventory or non-moving inventory is addressed with management.
Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment.
Ensure all warehouse employees maintain a current Forklift License on file and they have sufficient training on forklift to operate and palletize.
Establish written warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse practice including a daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedule to maintain organization.
- budget for cleaning and maintenance supplies Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads.
Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees.
Maintain team cross training for all areas to ensure coverage.
Keep up to date on the latest federal and state safety regulations Be fully trained in our Operating System SOLAR and be efficient in other programs for example Excel, Nitro and Outlook Utilize and manage the bar code system and maintain organization of the warehouse with such system.
Review Construction Calander daily to plan and ensure all shipments are prepared.
Ensure projects shipped out have correct materials and being prepared 24-48 hours ahead of shipment date.
Communicate with other departments- Project Managers-to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
Ensure all Receiving of product into the Warehouse is being properly received, inspected and processed timely.
Ensure all boxes are labeled with correct job name and product codes Ensure sure all freight shipments are being processed at the best rate or carrier possible Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Experience with fleet management and transportation management systems (TMS) - Proven track record in supervising and leading a team - Familiarity with profit loss analysis and budgeting - Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and their implementation This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our team.
