Position
Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Controller to join our team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in the financial planning and analysis function for our US Consumer Products Services activity across various business segments.
As a trusted business partner, you will provide finance leadership, support strategic initiatives, and offer insights for operational and financial enhancements.
Major Roles &
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the preparation of financial statements for monthly close, analyzing results, and presenting findings to management.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity in Sales and Financial reporting.
- Lead the development, management, and execution of forecast and annual budget processes.
- Conduct regular analyses on costs and productivity, interpreting variances versus targets, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate with local management on improvement actions.
- Manage task planning to meet deadlines effectively.
- Facilitate coordination with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook, with excellent Excel skills.
- Self-motivated, self-managed, and committed to honesty, integrity, and high work ethic.
- Effective team leader with the ability to motivate and engage colleagues.
- Capacity to work independently and handle confidential information.
- Strong prioritization skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Energetic commitment to work and quality.
Experience and Educational Background Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in a Big 4 CPA firm is advantageous.
- CPA certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards is desirable.
Compensation Range:
$110,000 - $120,000 annually (Actual compensation may vary based on location, education, experience, and skillset).
